HOW TO APPLY

THE APPLICATION TO THE CHIGIANA FILM SCORING INTENSIVE PROGRAM SPRING 2025 IS OPEN TO ALL.  THERE IS NO FEE TO APPLY.
APPLICATION DEADLINE IS APRIL 1st, 2025

To participate in the program candidates must:

STEP 1.
FILL OUT all of the fields and SUBMIT the application form ONLINE (HERE BELOW) before the application deadline of APRIL 1st, 2025. Candidates must include their:

  • CV (in English) PDF file with latest works listed;
  • 3 CUES with original music (rescoring is OK) where at least 2 cues are scored to picture – please provide links to the videos in the application form below;
  • 1 Example of writing for orchestra or MIDI Mock-up (PDF or video).
STEP 2. 
Accepted students will receive an offer of admission by email by April 15, 2025. The e-mail will include instructions on how to pay the program DEPOSIT of €300.00. Students must proceed to pay the deposit within 7 days from the date on the email to secure their spot in the program.
The deposit will be applied toward the tuition balance.
 
STEP 3. 
Before May 10th, 2025 accepted students must pay the remaining balance of € 2,700.00 of the €3,000.00 tuition fee.
 
IMPORTANT:
  • The Accademia Chigiana reserves the right to cancel the participation of any candidate if the tuition fee is not paid in full before the start of the program. The deposit is NON refundable and will NOT be returned. 
  • The tuition fee MUST BE PAID before the start of lessons.
  • It cannot be pro-rated nor reimbursed in case the student chooses to stop attending the course.
