HOW TO APPLY

THE APPLICATION TO THE CHIGIANA FILM SCORING INTENSIVE PROGRAM SPRING 2026 IS OPEN TO ALL.  THERE IS NO FEE TO APPLY.
THE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS APRIL 1, 2026

To participate in the program candidates must:

STEP 1.
FILL OUT all of the fields and SUBMIT the application form ONLINE (HERE BELOW) before the application deadline of APRIL 1, 2026. Candidates must include their:

  • CV (in English) PDF file with latest works listed;
  • 3 CUES with original music (rescoring is OK) where at least 2 cues are scored to picture – please provide links to the videos in the application form below;
  • 1 Example of writing for orchestra or MIDI Mock-up (PDF or video).
STEP 2. 
Accepted students will receive an offer of admission by email by April 21, 2026. The e-mail will include instructions on how to pay the program DEPOSIT of €300.00. Students must proceed to pay the deposit within 7 days from the date on the email to secure their spot in the program.
The deposit will be applied toward the tuition balance.
 
STEP 3. 
Before May 10th, 2026 accepted students must pay the remaining balance of € 2,700.00 of the €3,000.00 tuition fee.
 
IMPORTANT:
  • The Accademia Chigiana reserves the right to cancel the participation of any candidate if the tuition fee is not paid in full before the start of the program. The deposit is NON refundable and will NOT be returned. 
  • The tuition fee MUST BE PAID before the start of lessons.
  • It cannot be pro-rated nor reimbursed in case the student chooses to stop attending the course

L’ISCRIZIONE AL CHIGIANA FILM SCORING INTENSIVE PROGRAM SPRING 2025 È APERTA A TUTTI.
NON È PREVISTA ALCUNA TASSA DI ISCRIZIONE.
LA SCADENZA PER LE ISCRIZIONI: 1 APRILE 2026

Per partecipare al programma, i candidati devono seguire i seguenti passaggi:

STEP 1.
COMPILARE tutti i campi del modulo di iscrizione ed INVIARLO ONLINE tramite il form sottostante entro la scadenza del 1 aprile 2026.
I documenti richiesti sono:

  • CV (in inglese) in formato PDF, con un elenco dei lavori più recenti.
  • 3 brani di musica originale, di cui almeno 2 accompagnati da video. È accettato anche il re-score di scene di feature films. Fornire i link ai video (preferibilmente su YouTube o Vimeo).
  • 1 esempio di scrittura per orchestra o Mock-up MIDI (PDF o video).

STEP 2.
Gli studenti ammessi riceveranno un’offerta di ammissione via e-mail entro il 21 aprile 2026.
L’email includerà le istruzioni per il pagamento del DEPOSITO della quota di partecipazione, pari a €300,00.
Per assicurarsi un posto nel programma, gli studenti dovranno versare il DEPOSITO entro 7 giorni dalla ricezione della e-mail. Il DEPOSITO verrà scalato dal totale della quota di partecipazione.

STEP 3.
Entro il 10 maggio 2026, gli studenti ammessi dovranno versare il saldo della quota di partecipazione, pari a €2.700,00, per raggiungere il totale di €3.000,00.

IMPORTANTE:

  • L’Accademia Chigiana si riserva il diritto di annullare la partecipazione di un candidato qualora la retta non venga saldata per intero prima dell’inizio del programma.
  • Il DEPOSITO della quota di partecipazione NON è rimborsabile.
  • La quota di partecipazione DEVE essere saldata interamente prima dell’inizio delle lezioni e non sarà ridotta né rimborsata in caso di interruzione della frequenza del corso.
